In September 2025, the Materials Research Institute of Henan Academy of Sciences signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Ningbo Bowei Alloy Materials Co., Ltd. to jointly establish a joint research and development center, focusing on key technological breakthroughs in the field of copper alloy materials. Both parties will integrate enterprise market resources and technological advantages of research institutions to accelerate the transformation of achievements. Previously, the Henan Province High Performance Copper and Magnesium Alloy Pilot Base has been approved as a provincial-level platform, serving the industrial chain through five pilot lines, achieving independent and controllable key materials such as copper alloy strips for new energy and frame materials for electronic information.
